Rodney Moradi
I'm Rodney Moradi, a Junior at UC Berkeley, where I'm pursuing dual majors in Business at the Haas School of Business and Political Science. My journey has been driven by a passion for creating opportunities for students and fostering an environment where they can thrive.
At CRP, we are dedicated to empowering students by providing resources, support, and platforms that enable them to achieve their full potential. With my experience working with multiple non-profits, I bring a deep commitment to making a positive impact on student communities.

Founder & President
Calvin Yang
I'm Calvin Yang, a Junior at UC Berkeley, pursuing a double major in Molecular Cell Biology and Business Administration. My passion for public service has guided my academic and professional journey. Previously, I was involved with Congressman Eric Swalwell's Congressional Youth Council and co-chaired the Alameda County Civic Learning Collaborative.
During the summer, I interned at NewFields Inc., a national environmental consulting firm, where I analyzed chemical contaminations and their effects on human health. One of my proudest achievements was initiating an internship program with NCAPDA for Berkeley students, expanding the impact of prescription drug abuse prevention work within our community.
Vice President
Kori Lowe
Kori Lowe is a 2nd year UC Berkeley student, studying History with intent to minor in Chinese. Passionate about social justice, she uses her historical knowledge as well as her fluency in Mandarin to organize fellow students for political and social movements. Kori has worked as a Youth Representative with the Hayward South Alameda County NAACP for seven years and utilizes her role within the organization to advocate for her fellow students on a larger scale. In this role, she uses her organization and communication skills to compile relevant issues within various student populations that the NAACP then combats on an administrative level. Post-graduation, Kori plans to attend law school and work as a civil rights attorney.

Hellen Guevara Paredes
Hellen Guevara is a sophomore at UC Berkeley, majoring in Political Science with an intent to double major in Legal Studies. She has a strong commitment to public service, demonstrated by her previous internship with the California Alternative Energy and Advanced Transportation Financing Authority (CAEATFA) under the California Treasures office and her internship with the External Affairs Office of Governor Gavin Newsom. Where she was responsible for keeping up with current issues in California and connecting with stakeholders. As well as preparing and attending meetings with other elected officials. After college, Hellen hopes to attend Law School and find a career in public service or even become a lawyer.
Business Chair
Angad Singh
Angad Singh is a junior at UC Berkeley, double majoring in Chemical Biology and Economics. He is actively involved in community service, volunteering for marginalized populations. He is currently doing quantum sensing research in the Ajoy lab at UC Berkeley. Angad interned at VU Venture Partners during his freshman year summer, gaining valuable experience in deal analysis. He’s also previously served UC Berkeley students as the COF for the ASUC office of Senator Sultan. As the business chair of CRP at Berkeley, he aims to help students explore the field and gain practical experiences.
Life Sciences Outreach Director
Sheila Teker
Sheila is an upcoming third-year student at UC Berkeley, majoring in Molecular and Cell Biology with an emphasis in Medical Biology and Physiology, and minoring in Global Poverty and Practice. She is following a pre-medical/pre-MD-PhD track in her studies. Passionate about research and social justice, and dedicated to community impact, she is involved in various roles on campus and beyond. Apart from her work as co-chair of Internal Affairs for CRP, Sheila is a student researcher at UCSF, Life Enrichment Assistant at an assisted living/memory care facility, intern with the National Coalition Against Prescription Drug Abuse (NCAPDA), Continuity of Care (CoCA) officer at the Suitcase Clinic, and volunteer at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital.
Politics/Legal Chair
Joanna Lam
I’m Joanna Lam, a Junior at UC Berkeley in the dual degree program with Sciences Po where I will be pursuing a BA in Political Economy and a double minor in Public Policy and Human Rights. As a first-generation college student, I know the value of ‘getting a foot in the door’ and through CRP I am hoping to get more people through the doors of the professional spaces they see themselves in. Outside of CRP, I will be an intern with the UC Berkeley Public Service Center and will be plugged into local campaigns ahead of the 2024 November election
Co-Founder
Miguel Coronado
Miguel Coronado is a 3rd year Computer Science student at California Polytechnic State University. As the Co-Founder of CRP, he excels in acquiring and maintaining connections while organizing impactful events. Proficient in object-oriented programming languages such as Python and Java, he also has expertise in C, RISC-V, CSS, HTML, and Cloud technologies. During his internship at Qualitest in 2023, he developed a web application with upload and preview features for a client. He conducts research at California Polytechnic State University on human responses to AI entities using brainwave analysis. Additionally, he is engaged in 3D spatial mapping projects, including creating a digital twin for the Cal Poly campus. As a licensed unmanned pilot, he enables commercial drone piloting and 3D scanning capabilities.
EECS/CS Chair
Ethan Liu
Ethan Liu, a sophomore at UC Berkeley, is majoring in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences (EECS) with an intent to double major in Business Administration. He interested to impact startup, ML, and finance, previously running his startup, connecting US teachers with global students for English instruction. In the recent summer, Ethan interned for a financial company specializing in stock research, analysis, and tool creation. As the EECS/CS + Finance chair of CRP at Berkeley, he aims to guide students in gaining opportunities in the field and applying their knowledge across diverse domains.
Social Chair & Biotech Chair
Andrew Tolentino
Andrew Tolentino, a junior at UC Berkeley, is pursuing a double major in Molecular Cell Biology and Business Administration. He actively promotes diversity and inclusion by co-founding a local Gender-Sexuality Alliance (GSA), providing a safe space for the LGBTQIA+ community. Andrew has represented his school at the Student Diversity Leadership Conference (SDLC) for two consecutive years. During the summer, he worked at Aviceda Therapeutics, a Biotech startup in Cambridge, MA, gaining lab experience and contributing to review articles on immunomodulation for drug development. In his free time, Andrew volunteers at Bicycal, a student-run bicycle shop focused on sustainable transportation. As the social chair and biotech executive of CRP, he aims to foster a cohesive student body, strengthen connections, and create lasting opportunities for fellow students.
Economics Associate
Guobei Liu
Guobei Liu is a junior at UC Berkeley, majoring in Economics. He is actively involved in community service, often volunteering for marginalized populations. As a member of CRP at Berkeley, he aims to help students explore their chosen fields and gain practical experiences. In the future, he is planning to use statistical software and econometric models to analyze economic data, interpret trends in the markets, and make informed predictions on policy evaluation/financial forecasting.
